1. Order Processing

In-stock items:
Orders for items currently in stock are processed within 1–3 business days before handover to our local delivery partner.

Made-to-order or not-in-stock items:
These items require manufacturing or preparation. Estimated timelines:

  • Manufacturing: 4–6 weeks

  • Shipping: approximately 4 weeks

All timelines are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, courier delays, or unforeseen circumstances.


2. Shipping Methods

We use trusted courier partners for all deliveries.

  • Local deliveries within South Africa are arranged through our courier partners.

  • You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

  • For international shipping, please contact us prior to ordering, as separate terms and costs may apply.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping fees depend on:

  • Delivery location

  • Order weight and dimensions

  • Courier service selected

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are paid by the customer, unless stated otherwise.


4. Delivery Timeframes

In-stock items: Typically delivered within 3–10 business days, depending on your location.

Made-to-order items:

  • Manufacturing: 4–6 weeks

  • Shipping: approximately 4 weeks

  • Total estimated delivery: 6–10 weeks

Delays may occur due to:

  • Courier issues

  • Supplier delays

  • Load shedding or other operational disruptions

  • Natural events outside our control


5. Tracking Your Order

Once your order has been dispatched:

  • You will receive a tracking number via email.

  • You can track your parcel using the courier’s tracking system.

  • We are not responsible for delays once the order has been handed to the courier.


6. Shipping Damage or Loss

  • Please inspect your order upon delivery.

  • If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the item and packaging.

  • We will assist with replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

Maraina Studio is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged after they leave our warehouse unless the courier confirms fault.


7. Incorrect Address

  • Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.

  • Maraina Studio is not responsible for delays or lost parcels due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.
